As indicated in my previous post on the Idle No More movement, Attawapiskat Chief Theresa Spence is on a hunger strike asking the Prime Minister and Governor General to meet with Indigenous leaders to discuss treaty relations. She’s on the fourth week of that hunger strike.
There’s a benefit for Chief Spence and her camp this Saturday, January 5, 2012, with some great performers signed up.
