Please join us for a free screening of the documentary Do The Math. This important documentary follows Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org, as he brings the maths of climate change and launches the Fossil Free divestment campaign. The environmental degradation that is unfolding is the single greatest issue of our time. Yet, human societies stand paralyzed, unwilling to act.
David Rhynas will join us as a special guest before the screening and provide a 15 minute talk titled “Climate Change at a Crossroads.” A lot has happened since the documentary movie, An Inconvenient Truth, and there are some compelling updates on the latest science and solutions. This talk considers a number of initiatives our society could readily undertake that make sense in their own right and would contribute to a more sustainable world. The screening will be followed by a Q&A. We will have coffee, tea and snacks.
